Shields help raise £33,000 for Hospice
Shields are delighted to announce The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice have raised £33,000 thanks to our donation of a brand new Ford Focus.
Mr and Mrs McGorry were presented the keys of their brand new car by Celtic and Scotland star Paul Hartley and Shields Operations Director, Stewart MacLaren.
The hospice plan to use the money towards a capital building project which will enhance the Hospice's services by providing a further complimentary therapy suit for the benefit for patients and carers, two informal multi-purpose rooms for bereavement counselling sessions, carer groups and staff meetings.
Joe O'Donnell, Chairman and MD of Shields said 'This was a fantastic effort from the staff at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and we are delighted to help".
The Ford Focus in metallic silver reflects the 25th aniverssary celebrations of the Hospice.
The Hospice wish to thank everyone who purchased a ticket at the various venues the car was on display.
