The New Toyota AYGO is available with a 1.0 litre VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing - with intelligence) petrol engine.
The 1.0-litre 3 cylinder petrol engine is the most powerful (67bhp) and lightest (69kg)in its class. It gives you high levels of torque at low engine speeds. This means you get better acceleration in the 'stop-start' world of city driving. This agility and performance of the Toyota Aygo hasn't been achieved at the expense of the environment - the excellent torque (93/3600 Nm/rpm) is perfect for moving in and out of the traffic, whilst class leading fuel economy (61.4mpg), and low emissions (109g/km), mean VED (road tax) costs just £35 per year.
